IN the sequel of raaz the mystery continues we will see emraan hashmi as a painter. but there is a news that emraan has actully turned into a painter in real lofe too.

he learnt some painting strokes and techniques from sailesh achrekar for his role in the movie.

Emraan says, “Before shooting for Raaz, I was training under Sailesh Achrekar. Mohit (Suri; Raaz 2 director) wanted a character similar to Sailesh.

During this course, I started to learn to paint using various techniques, which I was not even aware of.

Through the lessons, I learnt to sketch with charcoal, pencils, work with oil paints and use different tools for effect such as knives and sponges.”

The entire process of painting rejuvenates me and is a complete stress-buster. It is just the start and I am not a pro at it but I’m trying to get better with every portrait.

With any form of art, you need practice. You have to trust it, offer something your best and then step back to see what is created.

You have always seen emraan hashmi in dark roles the reason is that he loves to do negative roles that is why he always prefer it.

Emraan says, “I prefer to do dark characters. That’s closer to me and that’s what I enjoy doing more. I cannot insanely dance around trees; at least till the time the role really doesn’t demand that.

“I’m playing a painter. He can foresee the future and paints the same on his canvas. My character is dark and complicated and has no contact with the outside world.”

When asked about comparison with original Raaz, he says, “I’m sure there will be comparisons with the earlier ‘Raaz’. That’s bound to happen. But I’m sure that people will love this one too since it’s got all the ingredients to be successful at the box office. This film has a different plot and will give a new definition to the horror genre.”
